Many people struggle with faith. Some feel like they can't do right no matter how hard they try. But if you put your trust in God, none of the things on this earth will compare to his strength. You will always face trials and tribulations no matter what, but with God, he will give you a purpose. That purpose may be more important than you could ever think of.
But how can you find God? What are you supposed to do? Well here is a list of steps to follow after.

Admit you are a sinner. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"(Romans 3:23 KJV) No one is good enough to go to Heaven on his own merit. No matter how much good we do, we still come short.
Realize the penalty for sin. "For the wages of sin is death..."(Romans 6:23a KJV) Just as there are wages for good, there is punishment for wrong. The penalty for our sin is eternal death in a place called Hell.
Believe that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again for you. "That is thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."( "Romans 10:9 KJV)
Trust Christ alone as your Savior. "...But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."(Romans 6:23b KJV) "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."(Romans 10:13 KJV) Eternal life in Heaven is a gift purchased by the blood of Jesus and offered freely to those who call upon him by faith. Anyone who believes on the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved forever. Being saved is a one time event.
If you want to accept Christ as is savior, say this prayer: Dear God, I know that I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sins. I know that Jesus Christ died on the cross and can save me, and the best way I know how, I ask Jesus to come into my heart and save me now. Amen.
Always remember salvation is by faith not by works. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."(Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV) It does not matter how much you read your bible, or how many times you sin, etc., As long as you believed on Christ, you will always be saved and will go to Heaven when you die.
Put your strength in him. Follow him in the best way you can. Strive to do what is right. He can change your life for the better and help you.
